Delta 1 catenin, also known as p120 catenin, is a tyrosine kinase substrate that is phosphorylated in Src transformed cells or in response to growth factor stimulation. Like beta- and gamma-catenin, p120 Catenin directly associates with the cytoplasmic C-terminus of E-Cadherin via its Arm domain and may similarly interact with other cadherins. The catenin/cadherin complexes play an important role mediating cellular adhesion, including adherens junctions.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.
