• Anwendungsbeschreibung: Extremely potent inhibitor of Rho kinase II (ROCK-II)1,2 - it displayed greater selectivity and potency compared to Y-27632 (IC50s: ROCK I = 52 pM/ROCK II = 1 pM, Y-27632 IC50s: ROCK I = 71 nM/ROCK II = 46 nM)3. Chroman 1, used in conjunction with trans-ISRIB (Cat 10-1539), Emricasan (Cat 10-4280), and polyamines (CEPT cocktail), promotes cytoprotective cell survival in human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) and was found to superior to Y-27632.3 Chroman 1 is an important new tool in the generation and maintenance of stem cells.
