CALML3 belongs to the calmodulin family and contains 4 EF-hand domains. This protein may be similar to that of authentic calmodulin and may actually compete with calmodulin by binding, with different affinities, to cellular substrates. CALML3 is expressed in normal mammary, prostate, cervical, and epidermal tissues. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-149 of human CALML3, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E. coli.
