Ebba Biotech

Fluorescent tracers

Ebba Biotech provides fluorescent tracer molecules for visualizing and differentiating macromolecules, such as carbohydrates and protein aggregates. These Optotracers are non-toxic and only fluoresce when bound to target, minimizing background fluorescence. Enabling detailed visualization of e.g. amyloids and bacterial biofilms, users include neuroscientists and microbiologists, but also plant physiologists wanting an anatomical map of the carbohydrates in their specimen.
Based in Stockholm, Ebba Biotech’s Optotracing technology is the result of cross-disciplinary research at three top universities in Sweden.
