trenzyme GmbH has now been operating for 20 years as a research service provider in the fields of cell line development and recombinant protein production. As an outsourcing partner, the company supports the research and development departments of academic institutes, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies from all over the world with its services. trenzyme's broad spectrum of services includes the biotechnological production of proteins. The company's services range from gene synthesis to final protein purification and are customized to each order.
Cell line development is the second major pillar of the company and is constantly being expanded through new innovations. Since 2015, trenzyme has been supplying analysis cell lines for research and development as well as GMP-compliant production cell lines for drug research and subsequent pharmaceutical production. In 2018, the service portfolio was extended to the expansion and differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), which play an increasingly important role, in particular as models for disease patterns and drug development.
The services offered by the company are complemented by molecular biological services such as gene synthesis, DNA cloning and vector design. trenzyme was founded in 2000 as a spin-off of the Microbiology Institute at the University of Constance and is one of the few service providers with certified quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in combination with a powerful LIMS.
