Bacillus megaterium Positive Control Vectors: The Bacillus megaterium expression system offers a versatile and easy-to-use tool for stable and high-yield protein production, both small- and large-scale. Several vectors are available as positive controls for expression in Bacillus megaterium: • pGFP1522 (MOB-BMEG10C) encoding GFP • pRBBm15C (MOB-BMEG13C) encoding levansucrase with His-Tag • pRBBm13C (MOB-BMEG14C) encoding levansucrase with Strep-Tag • pRBBm16C (MOB-BMEG15C) encoding levansucrase with StrepHis-Tag. These vectors have been validated for production of recombinant proteins using the Bacillus megaterium expression system. Diverse tags allow purification of Levansucrase, an enzyme of Lactobacillus reuteri, from the growth medium by one-step affinity purification. Please note that positive control vectors are only available in combination with a regular Bacillus megaterium expression vector.
