Recombinant human MIP-3 alpha.
MIP-3 alpha acts as a chemoattractant for memory T lymphocytes, immature dendritic cells and B lymphocytes, being the only CC chemokine known to bind to the G-protein linked 7-transmembrane receptor CCR6. Further properties of MIP-3 alpha include antimicrobial activity, inhibition of the in vitro proliferation of bone marrow immature myeloid progenitors and the stimulation of the growth and migration of pancreatic carcinoma cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Functional Assays, and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.5ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml Functional Assays: 15-18ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O or PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
