This antibody was derived from memory B cells specific for purified monomeric Zika virus soluble envelope protein, which were isolated by FACS from the blood of a patient 20 days post-infection with zika virus. To generate full-length monoclonal antibodies, the variable regions were then cloned into human IgG1 constant region.
