BALB/c mice were immunised by injection of iron(III)-meso-alpha,alpha,alpha,beta-tetrakis-orthocarboxyphenylporphyrin (Fe(ToCPP)) conjugated to KLH. Splenocytes were obtained from immunised mice and fused with the PA1 myeloma cell line to generate a hybridoma.
