White leghorn chickerns were immunised by intramuscular injection of a preparation of cell wall-bound proteins isolated from the wh1-2 fungus strain of F. verticilliodes. Splenocytes were obtained from immunised chickens and used for RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis.
