The parental mouse antibody RS7-3G11 was generated by immunizing mice with crude membrane preparation of a human primary squamous cell carcinoma from the lung. The humanized version of this antibody called hRS7 was generated by grafting CDRs of the parental mouse antibody onto human framework regions.
