The p53 Leeporter(TM) Luciferase Reporter cell line is a stably transfected HeLa cell line which expresses Renilla luciferase reporter gene under the transcriptional control of the p53 response element. p53 is a tumor suppressor that plays a crucial role in apoptosis and anticancer mechanisms. p53 reporter system is designed to monitor the p53-mediated signaling pathways.The p53 induction by doxorubicin is shown in Figure 1.
