Source : Escherichia Coli. Epigen Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 72 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7.9 kDa. Epigen is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. EPGN is an EGF-related polypeptide growth factor that signals through the ErbB receptor-1. EPGN is produced in numerous tissues, including the testis, liver, heart and in certain tumor cells. EPGN is mitogenic for fibroblasts and epithelial cells. Human EPGN is originally synthesized as a glycosylated 14.7 kDa transmembrane precursor protein, which is processed by proteolytic cleavage to produce a mature soluble sequence.
Reinheit:
Greater than 98.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Antibody Type:
Recombinant Antibody
Application Verdünnung:
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Epigen in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of murine Balb/3T3 cell
