This receptorchannel complex also contains a G protein, an adenylyl cyclase, cAMPdependent kinase, and the counterbalancing phosphatase, PP2A. The assembly of the signaling complex provides a mechanism that ensures specific and rapid signaling by this G proteincoupled receptor.
