GLP1R (GlucagonLike Peptide1 Receptor) is a type of Gproteincoupled receptor (GPCR) that plays a crucial role in metabolic regulation, and its specific ligand is glucagonlike peptide1 (GLP1). The binding of GLP1 to GLP1R induces a conformational change in the receptor, subsequently triggering downstream signaling cascades. These cascades further activate adenylyl cyclase, ultimately leading to an increase in intracellular cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels.
