Produktbeschreibung

Insulin is a heterodimer formed by connecting the A chain (21 amino acids) and B chain (30 amino acids) through two disulfide bonds (A7B7, A20B19). Its threedimensional structure presents a compact spherical conformation. HLVEALYLV is located at amino acids 1018 of the B chain, and stabilizes the binding interface between insulin and IR through hydrophobic interactions. By regulating the conformation of insulin, it affects its interaction with downstream signaling molecules.
