Insulinlike growth factorbinding protein 7 (IGFBP7) is also known as IGFBPrP1, MAC25 protein, PGI2stimulating factor, prostacyclinstimulating factor and tumorderived adhesion factor, which contains one Iglike C2type (immunoglobulinlike) domain, one IGFBP Nterminal domain and one Kazallike domain. The major function of IGFBP7 is the regulation of availability of insulinlike growth factors (IGFs) in tissue as well as in modulating IGF binding to its receptors. IGFBP7 binds to IGF with high affinity except for IGFI and IGFII.IGFBP7 also stimulates cell adhesion. Furthermore, IGFBP7 is implicated in some cancers. - Proteine/Peptide
