ILDR2 belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. May be involved in lipid homeostasis and ER stress pathways. ILDR2 as a novel B7like protein with robust T cell inhibitory activity, expressed in immune cells and in immuneprivileged and inflamed tissues. A fusion protein, consisting of ILDR2 extracellular domain with an Fc fragment, that binds to a putative counterpart on activated T cells showed a beneficial effect in the collageninduced arthritis model and abrogated the production of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines in autologous synoviallike cocultures of macrophages and cytokinestimulated T cells. Collectively, these findings point to ILDR2 as a novel negative regulator for T cells, with potential roles in the development of immunerelated diseases, including autoimmunity and cancer. - Proteine/Peptide
Human ILDR2, Fc Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.
