When used as a coating substrate in vitro, LN332 mimics this native niche, powerfully directing iPSCs towards the corneal epithelial lineage. It achieves this by engaging with cellular integrins (primarily alpha6beta4), which triggers signaling pathways that suppress alternative cell fates and actively promote the expression of key corneal epithelial markers like KRT3 and KRT12.
