LRRC4 is also known as Brain tumorassociated protein BAG, NetrinG2 ligand (NGL2), Nasopharyngeal carcinomaassociated gene 14 protein (NAG14), which contains 1 Iglike (immunoglobulinlike) domain and 9 LRR (leucinerich) repeats, 1 LRRCT domain, 1 LRRNT domain. LRRC4 / NGL2 specifically expressed in brain. LRRC4 / NGL2 regulates the formation of exitatory synapses through the recruitment of preandpostsynaptic proteins. LRRC4 / NGL2 organize the lamina/pathwayspecific differentiation of dendrites.
