Serine/threonine-protein kinase Nek8, Never in mitosis A-related kinase 8, NimA-related protein kinase 8, Nima-related protein kinase 12a, NEK8, JCK, NEK12A
NEK8 is a NIMA-related kinase. Members of this serine/threonine protein kinase family are structurally-related to NIMA (never in mitosis, gene A) which controls mitotic signaling in Aspergillus nidulans. NEK8 highest expression occurs in adult heart, followed by pancreas, skeletal muscle, brain, liver, kidney, lung and placenta. NEK is required for renal tubular integrity, and is present in most primary carcinomas.
Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
Target-Kategorie:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7095b was selected from the C-term region of human NEK8. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
