Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and inner-membrane mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology.

Formulierung: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
Target-Kategorie: The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8968a was selected from the N-term region of human GOT2. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
