Bioactivity: CD16 is FcgammaR ⅲ, a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 50-70kD, a member of Ig superfamily, known to be involved in antigen-dependent cytotoxicity (ADCC). The most significant feature of CD16 is that the cleavage triggered by membrane receptors is performed by NK cells.
