MitoTracker Red CM-H2XRos is a reduced red fluorescent dye (Ex=579 nm, Em=599 nm), which is non-fluorescent and can be passively transported across cell membranes and oxidized upon entry into the cell into a fluorescent and mitochondria-selective probe, which accumulates on active mitochondria.
