Rhodionin was isolated from the roots of Rhodiola crenulata and is a specific non-competitive cytochrome P450 2D6 inhibitor with IC50 of 0.761 µM and Ki of 0.769 µM. Rhodionin effectively inhibited acetylcholinesterase (AChE) in a dose-dependent manner with an IC50 range of 57.50 to 2.43 µg/mL. Rhodionin had effective DPPH radical scavenging activity with IC50 of 19.49 µM.
