Anti-TACE antibody (1131) was raised against a peptide corresponding to 17 amino acids near the carboxy terminus of human TACE. The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of TACE.

Cleaves the membrane-bound precursor of TNF-alpha to its mature soluble form. Responsible for the proteolytical release of soluble JAM3 from endothelial cells surface. Plays a role in the proteolytic processing of ACE2.
