Abbkine CheKine(TM) Micro Mitochondrial complex IV Activity Detection Kitis specially developed for the detection of complex I activity. The operation is simple and convenient, and the detection is more sensitive and accurate. Reduced cytochrome C has characteristic light absorption at 550nm. Mitochondrial respiratory chain complex IV could catalyze reduced cytochrome C to oxidized cytochrome C. Therefore, the decreasing rate of light absorption at 550nm can reflect the enzyme activity of mitochondrial respiratory chain complex IV.
