CF dye tetrazine reacts with cyclooctene (TCO, methylcyclopropene) via copper free click chemistry, for reactions where damage to proteins from copper is a concern. Tetrazine has faster reaction kinetics than methyltetrazine. Far-red/near-IR fluorescent CF680 dye has Ex/Em 681/698 nm.
