By inhibiting MDR-1, active compounds remain in the cytoplasm longer and allowing them to be more effective within the cell. Potentiates the cytotoxicity of established Pgp substrates such as colchicine, vinblastine and paclitaxel. Antiproliferative and cytotoxic compound. Potent antifouling compound.
