Produktbeschreibung

Compstatin is a 13-residue cyclic peptide that potently and specifically inhibits primate complement C3. It is proteolytically stable in baboon blood and inhibits the classical and alternative pathways with IC50 values of 63 µM and 12 µM, respectively. This inhibitor is used in research on inflammatory diseases, ischemia-reperfusion injury, and biocompatibility in both in vitro and primate in vivo models.
