GGTI-286 TFA is a potent and selective cell-permeable inhibitor of GGTase I, effectively blocking Rap1A geranylgeranylation (IC50 = 2 µM) with over 15-fold selectivity against H-Ras farnesylation. It also inhibits oncogenic K-Ras4B stimulation (IC50 = 1 µM). This compound is a valuable research tool for studying protein prenylation in cancer biology and signal transduction, both in vitro and in vivo.
