Dexamethasone-d4 is a deuterated analog of the glucocorticoid receptor agonist Dexamethasone (CAS 50-02-2). This research compound is used in metabolic and pharmacokinetic studies and has been shown in vitro to suppress inflammatory exosome production, including those containing microRNA-155, in LPS-stimulated macrophages.
