Nrf2 activator 18 (Compound 11a) is an orally bioavailable small molecule that activates the Keap1/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway, leading to Nrf2 nuclear translocation and antioxidant response. It inhibits IL-6 release (IC50 = 4.816 µM) and has shown anti-inflammatory efficacy in a murine model of PM2.5-induced lung injury.
