Our antibody labeling kit is specifically designed for the conjugation of MMAF with a releasable VC-PAB linkage to antibodies (IgG). This kit contains maleimide-activated MMAF (Mc-VC-PAB-MMAF) which can be directly coupled to the antibodies after reduction through alkylation in a single step. The reduced thiols at the heavy chains of the antibody serve as the labeling sites for conjugation with MMAF. The VC-PAB linkage is designed to be cleavable by Cathepsin B, allowing for the release of MMAF from the antibody once it reaches its target.
