Product Description Sphingosine kinase 1 (SphK1) is a lipid kinase responsible for the formation of Sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) from sphingosine. SphK1 is found in the cytosol of eukaryotic cells until activated and it migrates to the plasma membrane. There are two isoforms of SphK, SphK1 and SphK2. Both isoforms are available from Echelon. This recombinant full-length human Sphingosine kinase 1 with N-terminal 6xHis tag is tested for activity against sphingosine.
