• Anwendungsbeschreibung: PT-179 is an orthogonal thalidomide analog that binds cereblon (CRBN: KD = 587 nM, pomalidomide KD = 500 nM) with greatly reduced off-target activity compared to pomalidomide. Pomalidomide induced differential expression of 1426 genes in MM.1S multiple myeloma cells compared to only 3 for PT-179. PT-179 is an interesting new tool for exploring CRBN-based therapeutics.
