DCEBIO is a small/medium conductance calcium-activated potassium (SKCa/IKCa) channel opener and primary neuron signal blocker. It hyperpolarizes the membrane potential of C2C12 myoblasts by activating IKCa channels, thereby promoting myogenic differentiation.
