M2WJ332 is an inhibitor of the M2 proton channel of the influenza A virus M2S31N mutant M2. M2WJ332 potently inhibits the influenza A virus A/M2-S31N proton channel in Xenopus laevis oocytes, with an IC50 of 16 µM. M2WJ332 completely inhibits plaque formation by the influenza A virus carrying the M2S31N mutant. M2WJ332 is applicable to research related to influenza A virus infection[1][2].
