LY87130 free base can significantly reduce the basal level of epinephrine in the hypothalamus after administration. LY87130 free base has no significant effect on the basal levels of norepinephrine, 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA) in the hypothalamus[1].
