FXn is a hapten that can be used for the generation of mAbs. FXh is activated by incubation with N, N'-disuccinimidyl carbonate, and Et3N in acetonitrile at 0 C. FXn is covalently linked to the protein via N-hydroxy succinimidyl ester[1].
