Todays antibodies recognize pGm, in descending order of importance, as the parent base, the methylated ribose moiety, and the phosphate group. 2'-O-Methylguanosine 5'-monophosphate can also be used to prepare RNA vaccines as a 5'-terminal nucleotide to block the RNA molecule[1][2].
