Antibacterial agent 182 (compound 8c) is an antibacterial agent that shows antibacterial activity against various Gram-positive bacteria, particularly against Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecalis (MIC 0.125 µg/mL). Antibacterial agent 182 inhibits biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa at sub-MIC doses[1].
