Anti-MRSA agent 9 (compound 39) shows antibacterial effects against clinically isolated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) with MIC values of 1 µg/ml. Anti-MRSA agent 9 also shows anti-MRSA efficacy in vivo[1].
