PEX5-PEX14 PPI-IN-3 (Compound 7) is an inhibitor of the PEX5-PEX14 protein-protein interaction (PPI) with an EC50 of 95 µM. PEX5-PEX14 PPI-IN-3 has an EC50 of 7.2 µM against Trypanosoma brucei (T. brucei). PEX5-PEX14 PPI-IN-3 exhibits low cytotoxicity towards HepG2 cells and possesses antiparasitic activity[1].
