Antitrypanosomal agent 26 blocks the mitochondrial electron transport chain of trypanosomes and inhibits glucose-dependent respiration. Antitrypanosomal agent 26 is promising for research of African animal trypanosomiasis, such as bovine trypanosomiasis[1].
