WGU55 has a Ki of 3510 nM (SI = 289) against the homologous protease matriptase and a Ki of 5.2 µM against the coagulation key protease Factor Xa. WGU55 can be used for the research of iron overload related diseases, such as hereditary hemochromatosis[1].
