Antimycobacterial agent-16 is an anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosis agent. Antimycobacterial agent-16 is not hydrolyzed by mycobacterial pyrazinamidase. Antimycobacterial agent-16 exhibits activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv, multidrug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains, and Mycobacterium kansasii. Antimycobacterial agent-16 can be used in the research of tuberculosis[1].
