Isoamylase, Pseudomonas sp. (EC 3.2.1.68) is an enzyme systematically named glycogen 6-alpha-D-glucan hydrolase. Isoamylase catalyzes the hydrolysis of (16)-alpha-D-glycosidic bonds in glycogen, amylopectin, and their beta-limited dextrins. Isoamylase can also effectively hydrolyze amylopectin.
