Diguanylate Cyclase, engineered (EC 2.7.7.65) has been engineered to remove phosphodiesterase activity and overexpressed in E. coli. Diguanylate Cyclase, engineered (EC 2.7.7.65) catalyzes the formation of guanosine triphosphate (GTP) into cyclic-diGMP, without the production of 5-phosphoguanylyl-(3,5)-guanosine (pGpG) .
