Stigmane B (Compound 2) is a nuclear factor E2-related factor (Nrf2) activator. Stigmane B downregulates apoptosis and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, and increases antioxidant enzyme activities. Stigmane B shows neuroprotective effects[1].
